The other way around. Buy out is $350. You get $350 exactly. No more no less. If for some reason it sells for more the difference could go towards a prize fund, pizza next week in the pits, or hobby shop. You would only participate in the class if you are willing to sell your car for the buyout number. Basically don't bring a $1000 car into that race. Bring a competitive car that you have less than $350 invested. This keeps the spending cap honest and enforceable.
